My Story
Hi! Thanks for stopping by.
This year I am running the London Marathon for a cause that means a lot to me. I am raising money for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity which is a wonderful centre that offers end of life care to people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced illness or other life-limiting conditions. See below for more information about the Hospice.
The Hospice holds particular significance to me as it is where my Dad was looked after exceptionally well in the final few weeks of his life in 2022. So well in fact that he felt like he was at the Ritz!
The atmosphere at the Hospice takes away a lot of the stress and sadness of the situation thanks to the wonderful and attentive staff.
The Hospice provides its range of services free of charge and to help it continue its excellent work, if you are able to, please be as generous as you can with your donations. They will help the Hospice so much and will also motivate me with my training and on race day!
Please note that any donations from my fundraising page from 2023 pre-injury have already been donated to Arthur Rank and still count towards this year’s target.
Thank you kindly!
