Hannah Moden’s Marathon Fundraiser

My Story
Hi everyone thank you for taking the time to have a read through my fundraising page!
Next year on Sunday 27th April I will be taking part in the LONDON MARATHON (ahhhhh still seems a bit surreal) I have been selected to run for #TeamArthur -The Arthur Rank Hospice charity. I applied to get one of their 5 charity places and never did I think I'd get a phone call to say I'd been successful and offered a place!
Arthur Rank Hospice support people in Cambridgeshire living with a life-limiting condition, advanced serious illness or other and those who need end of life care. They care for around 3,600 patients each year at their Hospice in Cambridge, the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech and across the Fens, in patients’ own homes.
Arthur Rank cared for and supported my Grandad after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. They were incredible and the love and support they offered to the family is something that my Granny and my family will always be grateful for. So when thinking of a charity that I could run the Marathon for this was a no brainer!
I am definitely an amateur runner so this is going to be probably one of the biggest challenges I'll ever do, I'm going to give it my all and raise some money for this wonderful charity in the process!
Keep your eyes peeled for some charity events!
Now let the training commence!!!
Much love, Hannah
