About
The Star Shine Night Walk is a special way to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones. This year a group of wonderful friends, team 'Init Together' will be taking part and walking a mix of 5 & 10 mile routes, under the stars to help raise money for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
2024 was an extremely challenging and sad year as we lost some much-loved family and friends. The walk this year falls on the anniversary of losing Sherrall, our beloved friend and wife to Lynyrd. She had the most beautiful soul, was caring and loving, and throughout her battle with Motor Neurone Disease, brought friends together with parties, fun times and smiles. Sherrall loved Summer Solstice, and it feels very fitting that she will bring us together again to walk for such a worthy cause.
We will always feel indebtedness to the amazing team at Arthur Rank, particularly to Sherall's Palliative Care Nurse, Rose, for the love, support and kindness showed over two years and for making Sherall's last moments with us so peaceful.
We would all be very grateful if you could sponsor us to fundraise for Arthur Rank so they can continue their amazing work by supporting others with life limiting illnesses.
With much thanks from us all.
