My Story

I am fundraising because I see the difference daily that the staff can make to people's lives, when choices over how your life goes forward due to life limiting illness takes over... it is our job is to open up the hidden doors that most of us can't see unless we really need to when the unexpected happens. On a personal level I decided it was important to challenge myself as I love a good challenge and it's important however we age in my case slightly less gracefully than some people...that I continue to challenge myself and my family....TeamArthur Firewalk raises vital funds for the work ofArthur Rank Hospice Charity. The sponsorship our participants are able to raise will help to generate essential funds towards the work of our charity, helping to plug the gap in lost revenues due to the pandemic, and ensuring that vital care and support reaches those in our county who need it most.
