My Story

I'm taking part in the Star Shine Night Walk 2025 to help raise money for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and to celebrate the life of my husband of 45 years, David. The Hospice at Home team provided invaluable practical and emotional support to our family during the final few weeks of David's life and I want others to be able to receive the same help. As a family we were always great walkers so it seems only appropriate to celebrate David by joining the Star Shine Night Walk. I'm hoping to achieve the 10 mile walk despite my dodgy knees.
